Banana Pecan Chocolate Chip Cookies

So I suck at baking! I rarely bake anything and usually rely on my cousins for supplying me with the goods when needed.

Don’t get me wrong, I make attempts here and there but I always end up with a giant cookie or a gooey mess πŸ’

So one day I came across a gluten-free recipe that one of my vegan friends posted. It pretty much was solving my ‘what do I do with my extra ripe bananas’ dilemma at that moment. I tried it out and actually came out with delicious cookies! I made a few changes but this is the easiest non measuresy (totally made up that word) recipe…

Preheat oven to 350Β°

In a bowl mix:

-2 ripe bananas mashed

-1 cup oats

-Drizzle of vanilla extract 

-Pinch of cinnamon

Mix all ingredients then add:

-unsweetened coconut flakes 


-slivered almonds

-dark chocolate chips

Stir it all up and scoop onto greased baking sheet. I bake them for 15-18 minutes each.

This recipe makes a dozen yummy cookies.
